Code of Conduct for the 2026 AWPC Regional Conference

The 2026 International Society for Environmental Epidemiology Asia and Western Pacific Chapter Regional Conference is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and productive environment for all participants. By attending, all presenters, attendees, and guests agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct.

Respectful Behavior
- Treat all participants with professionalism, fairness, and respect.
- Foster an environment that encourages open scientific exchange and constructive dialogue.
- Refrain from discriminatory, harassing, or disrespectful behavior including, but not limited to, offensive verbal comments related to participant or beliefs characteristics, purposeful intimidation or unwelcome attention, or disruption of sessions and presentations.
Responsible Use of Shared Spaces
- Follow venue rules and staff instructions.
- Respect equipment, displays, and materials belonging to the venue and other participants.
Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it promptly to conference organizers. All reports will be handled discreetly and taken seriously.
Consequences of Misconduct
Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in actions including, but not limited to:
- Verbal or email warning
- Removal from specific sessions
- Expulsion from the conference without refund

Presentation Confidentiality Statement

All presentations, discussions, and materials shared during 2026 International Society for Environmental Epidemiology Asia and Western Pacific Chapter Regional Conference are confidential and intended solely for registered attendees. By participating in this conference, attendees agree not to photograph, record, or otherwise capture any portion of the presentations or discussions, as a whole or in part, without permission from the presenters. Unauthorized recording or distribution of conference content is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the event and revocation of conference privileges.
